Chanderi Anarkali

Chanderi has been woven in the same Madhya Pradesh town for six centuries, and this anarkali shows why the tradition survives: the fabric is nearly weightless, holds a soft sheen without shouting, and drapes like it was cut for you.

The silhouette is classic — fitted through the bodice, flaring gently from the waist — with a hand-finished zari border at the hem. Wear it with juttis for the day, or heels and jhumkas when the occasion asks for more.
